Two ways to put me on a problem without a contract, a procurement cycle or a discovery call. You pay up front, I reply within one business day, and we agree what the work actually takes before any of it starts.

The Research Task
One question, researched properly and answered in writing. Not a search summary — a reasoned memo with the evidence, the trade-offs, the things that would change the answer, and a recommendation I am willing to defend.
Increase the quantity if you have several. Each is answered separately.

Tell me the question. I'll confirm the scope before I start.
The Engineering Retainer
Hands on the keyboard, on your problem. Bought in blocks of 10 hours at $250 an hour. Most MVPs land somewhere between 20 and 60 hours — buy 10 to start and we'll size the rest honestly once I've seen it.
Quantity 2 is 20 hours, quantity 3 is 30, and so on. Unused hours stay on your account.

Describe what you want built. We'll confirm the real size by email before work starts.
How it works
Not sure which one you need, or whether this is the right shape at all? Email me first — I'd rather tell you it's not worth buying than take the money.
